I just requested a new Patent Pro Bono case!

I am happy to announce that I just requested a second patent pro bono matter from the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts organization (VLA).   I like to give back to the community at large, and providing pro bono patent, trademark, and copyright legal services is one way I can do that.

VLA is the leading legal aid and education organization dedicated to New York artists and its arts and cultural organizations. VLA strives to protect the artistic community’s livelihoods, businesses, and creative works through access to dedicated legal representation and focused education programs.  For more information on the VLA please go here.

I filed my first Pro Bono Patent Application

I am happy to announce that I filed my first Pro Bono Design Patent Application.  I accepted a pro bono client from the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts organization (VLA).   It feels great to “give back”!  For the next pro bono client, I may look into doing a trademark application or response to office action.   For more information on the VLA, go here.

Pro Bono Design Patent Application!

I am happy to announce that I recently found a pro bono opportunity to help someone apply for a design patent application.   I am in the review stage of the process, but it feels great to give back to the community.  Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts is the organization I am a part of that gives me pro bono opportunities with respect to patents, trademarks and copyrights.  Their website is here if you are interested in volunteering, or if you are seeking free or low fee legal services.

I just joined the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts pro bono program

I just attended an orientation for the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA) pro bono organization out of New York.  They work in the association with the USPTO to provide pro bono patent and trademark services to people and business enties that qualify.   Soon, I should be providing pro bono services through this organization.  For more information on VLA go here.
