Induced (PATENT) Infringement & Skinny (PATENT) Labelling presentation at tonight’s CIPLA meeting

I will be attending the Connecticut Intellectual Property Law Association (CIPLA) meeting tonight.   The talk will center around the Supreme Court case Hikma Pharmaceuticals v. Amarin Pharma, Inc. (No. 24-889), a case involving contentious issues surrounding induced patent infringement liability in the context of skinny labels.   I will also get to meet with my fellow local intellectual property professionals.  More information can be found here.

HOT, CURRENT, REAL IP ISSUES INVOLVING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE BY FORMER USPTO UNDERSECRETARY DAVID KAPPOS!

Yesterday I attended a Connecticut Intellectual Property Law Association (CIPLA) presentation.  Former USPTO Undersecretary David Kappos spoke about Artificial Intelligence and how the USPTO may deal with this new technlogy.   He gave a great talk, and it was nice to see other Connecticut patent and trademark lawyers.   For more information on CIPLA, go here.
